Its been a rough week thus far. After sustaining a shoulder and knee injury earlier this week and unable to function in a normal capacity, I was able to enjoy a bit of pain free time with my girls. Facing possible surgery, I had a list of things I had to do this week and was unable to complete due to these injuries. Subsequently, the tasks were replaced with things like, getting to the hospital, having a slew of tests done, having my knee drained (although the Doc only got synovial fluid (no blood) which means more tests), and a subsequent MRI. Below is a snap shot of the MRI films I received….whaddya think?

So I’ve been laid up in bed and on the couch and at the hospital for the past three days. I’ve had a lot to think about and trying to get some work done in between. So here is what I have on my mind:
- Take better care of myself and health
- Spend more quality time with my family
- Get into better physical shape ( I’ve tried several times this year and was unsuccessful)
- Concentrate on better finances
- Serve others better than I have been ( family, work, charity )
- Do Good Stuff!
So within these bullet points includes more consistent blogging. Even though it may not be blockbuster content, I should be posting more. This goes the same for being active on Twitter and Facebook. I have been reading more blogs than I have in the past and have been sharing via Google Reader. I tend to share more there and try to cross post more to Facebook and Twitter as much as I can without being too spammy.
I’ve recently launched Griffin Digital Media and have been concentrating on that becoming official. I’ve been doing Independent Contracting in various forms in this capacity for a little over a year and figured it was time to become more official and authentic. I’ve been working on some quality stuff and hope to serve my clients well for years to come.
Perhaps the injury came at the right time so I could reflect for a few days during recovery. Time to get back on the horse so to say. Giddyup!
