Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts and CoffeeCupNews

DD V StarbucksI was having a discussion with a friend of mine over coffee preferences and commercial coffees. He professed his love of  Starbucks and I stated I preferred Dunkin Donuts over said Starbucks.. I do submit one must also consider the setting of a coffee house. Although I have enjoyed the coffee house ambiance of Starbucks and the likes of Caribou Coffee, I have recently enjoyed exporing other coffee houses like The Hard Bean Cafe in Boyertown PA, and other coffees.

I enjoy the laid back environment, the music, the WiFi, and the coffee. Occasionally,I will go there to work on a few things as well as meet with people. The Hard Bean Cafe has live entertainment sometimes in the evenings as well as group get-togethers.

Coffee Cup News

I’ve been following a blog called CoffeeCupNews.org run by Jason Coffee ( I know, convenient name right!!! ). The site is essentially an “All Things Coffee” review site injected with Social Media.  Think of it as an Gary Vaynerchuk meets Coffee. Props to Jason though as his gig is a bit different. Jason is very personable and knowledgeable about coffees. His reviews are entertaining, insightful and educational. Recently he has been doing a segment reviewing music with his buddy Rob on Music Over Coffee. Recently they did a review of Jack Johnson’s  My Little Girl. Check it out and suggest some Music for them to review.
